15 for 15+ Arch Ex. @ HK Fringe Club

 

Demand for community architecture is rising due to higher public expectation of the HKSAR Government. BARRIE HO Architecture Interiors Ltd. (BHA), founded by Hong Kong’s leading architectural designer Mr Barrie Ho, has been actively working on community projects over the years in echo of the HKSAR Government policies. In celebration of the company’s 15th anniversary, BHA hosts “BARRIE HO Architecture – 15 for 15+ Architecture Exhibition” from 8th December 2014 through 5th January 2015 at the Fringe Club, Central.

 

The exhibition showcases 15 selected community projects of the company to underline the power of architecture in relation to life, health, human civilisation, culture, history, youth activities, women activities, sports and animal protection. Those projects which are designed for the general public and the community also demonstrate the caring spirit and the genuine meaning of architecture.

 

The exhibition opening on 8th Dec 2014 was officiated by a strong list of dignitaries from the business, political and professional fields. Officiating guests are: Dr Andrew CHAN, BBS, Director of Urban Renewal Fund; Dr Peggy LAM GBS, OBE, JP, Chairperson of Hong Kong Federation of Women; Mr Andrew LEE King Fun, Chairman of Andrew Lee King Fun & Associates Architects Ltd.; Ir Dr Hon LO Wai Kwok BBS, MH, JP, HKSAR Legislative Council Member of the Engineering Constituency; Dr Francis TSANG Hing Fung, Deputy Director of Vocational Training Council; The Hon Tony TSE Wai Chuen BBS, HKSAR Legislative Council Member of the Architectural, Surveying and Planning Functional Constituency; and Prof. Christopher Webster, Dean, Faculty of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong.
